HI, I'm patrick.
I work with people who want their lives to feel more intentional, more connected, and authentic—whether they’re building on what they’ve created or reshaping what comes next.
Over the past 25 years, I’ve learned that the most meaningful work happens when we share space and put both our expertise on the table. You bring the deepest knowledge of your own life; I bring perspective, tools, and curiosity. Together, we create something you can feel in the way you live every day.
I’m here to help you:
See yourself more clearly and trust what you know.
Turn self-awareness into change you can actually feel in your life.
Build a way forward that fits who you are, not just what you do.
MY APPROACH
Working with me isn’t a formula. It’s an ongoing conversation, shaped by curiosity and a shared commitment to the work. I’ll bring thoughtful questions, a different way of looking at the pieces of your life, and a willingness to stay with what’s complex instead of rushing to fix it. You bring your insight, your history, and your sense of what matters most. Between sessions, we might use readings or reflections to keep the process alive outside the hour.
Together, we’ll uncover the patterns behind your choices, listen to the parts of your life asking for more attention, and make the kinds of shifts that turn self-awareness into embodied living. Some weeks it’s deep exploration; other weeks it’s small, deliberate moves that make your everyday life feel more like the one you want to live.
Part of this exploration includes trying new things, which we will do together, at your pace and in the way most comfortable to you. We will pull from traditional psychotherapy approaches as needed, and utilize my experience with things like:
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Evidence-based Family Therapy
Meditation
Professional Development
Hypnosis
WHY IT’S DIFFERENT
whole person focus
This isn’t diagnosis-driven therapy or an insurance-dictated plan. It’s a flexible, personal space designed around where you are right now and where you want to go.
all of you in the room
Our work doesn’t live in one corner of your life. It draws from everything that shapes you—emotional, social, cognitive, spiritual, physical, vocational—because growth happens when all of you is present.
Starting from What’s Working
We start with what’s already alive in you. By focusing on what’s strong, therapy becomes a place to expand instead of reducing you to a list of problems to fix.
BACKGROUND
I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Miami and have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2001. My work has spanned private practice, community mental health, hospitals, and public health research across Florida, California, Vermont, and Massachusetts. I’ve also consulted with organizations focused on mental and community health, shaping programs that center real human experience over checkboxes.
That range of work taught me one thing clearly: therapy only creates change when it’s personal, adaptive, and connected to the whole of someone’s life — not just one “problem” or label.
WHY I DO THIS WORK
For me, therapy is a way of harnessing the power of what people can do together. It’s a privilege to sit with someone and help them create more of what they want for their life. Traditional therapy can feel too narrow for some people, especially if their history with it hasn’t fit. That’s why I draw from a wide range of perspectives and keep the work as creative and flexible as the people in it. Hearing what’s worked for you, what your best moments have looked like, and building on that is what keeps this work so rewarding for me.
